since I don't have access to the "guild" forums anymore I'll post it here:
this is the "monkly business" new EQ2 monk/bruiser site, read it and thought you'de prolly have a good shot at winning.
Hey Gang,
After much internal debate and the fact that my artistic ability is absolutely Crap i have Decided to Hold a Contest (reward will be something not sure what yet- i might email sean and see if i can finagle a CE box out of them) to Design a Logo For the Main Site that is Better than the fast screenshot w/text i did above...
size of the Logo is not to Exceed 750pixels width by 150 pixels high - in png or gif format's
what should be on said logo - the name of the site - of course- they rest is up to you.
the contest drawing entry time will run from Today thru the 23rd of February. once i have the entrie i will be posting all of the pictures on a main contest page where YOU will be able to vote for the best logo for the site.

Things have calmed down at my place since the holidays so I and the leaders are starting to take this game seriously. There's nothing personal involved, but if you're not an Epic Shadows member or Officer you do not need access to our private forums.
All people not belonging to Epic Shadows will have their private forum access removed from this point forward, friend or not.
EDIT: ok I admit it is somewhat personal, but when 3 people who wanted to be officers up and quit then things get personal.

Thanks Sixis. I have a pretty good start on a new Logo and I think it looks pretty snazzy so far. Thanks for letting me know about this. Doing artwork is fun for me

once a shadow always a shadow... guess not. I really thought the "family" atmosphere transcended the boundaries of the game platform.
people who wanted to be officers
go back to the officers forums and re-read my posts... I was willing to help, or not, where I could. I even suggested we had too many officers to members (ratio), think I even offered to step down.
starting to take this game seriously
if you're taking this (one or more person's opinions about a GAME, or how they choose to spend their own spare time) personally then maybe you're taking it too seriously...
lost for words atm...

thread hijack aside - steph, I still think it'de be cool to enter. I've seen other members (monkly-biz) art work... you definately have a shot.

I didn't figure that part out. Man Monkly Business' Logo needs an overhaul too . Okay I will redo the text for Brawler's pit. I have a really cool idea for it. I might design a couple logos and let ya'll pick your fave before I submit.
On a side note. Let's not fight about forum access. IMO there is a difference between deguilded "new" members and deguilded longtime friends. I was not aware of the banning from the guild forums until Ren posted. I think this is something we need to discuss further in private.

After some chat from the officers it seems appropriate to open a private forum for returning friends. A little bit of forum format has been changed to accomodate this.

Sorry been so busy. Here is my submission:
Really had such a small space to work with. The height limitations hindered what I could do. 150 pixels high is short compared to my avg working space of 200 to 250. I probably could have made something a little more elaborate, but time constraints just wouldnt let me do it.
