When I llived in Chicago I maintained a web site for a local rugby club that a friend of mine played in. The guys in that club were some of the craziest guys I ever met. Rugby is far and away the most brutal game I've ever seen played.

What was amazing is that they would play another culb and just beat the snot out of each other the entire match, then they would all - both clubs - go out and drink together after the game. It wasn't at all personal to them - it was just the game.
