What is everyone up to these days. Here is the low down on me and Lud.
I am still working from home doing transcription. I just got hired on last week for another clinic and am excited about the extra income. We need it badly :b (Especially if we want to go crash X's pad in Hawaii next summer$$). Life has been hectic for me the past couple weeks preparing for a family reunion, starting a new job, and everyone in my church decided to all have their babies at the same time so I have been visiting, babysitting, and cooking like a mad woman. I am fairly well retired from EQ. I may pop on every now and then, but no promises :b. I am having fun in what little spare time I have playing SWG with Lud. I have a lot of fun actually grouping with him for a change . Kids are doing great. Brennan is 3 now and Ashlyn will be 2 years old in 2 1/2 weeks. Hard to believe she's grown so fast. Lud graduated in April of this year and hopefully will get into a Master's program some time 2005. Other than that life is good and we can't complain too much .
So lets hear an update from the ES/ex-ES crowd and catch us up on the goings on your world! _________________

Tan and I have just been working. We're both a little frustated with our jobs as of lately. The raise that was promised to me after my promotion 6 months ago seems to have been "my imagination", and Tan was given a "less than average worker" raise. Other than that, we've just been working on EQ and the few other things we do for fun.
We've been house hunting as well. It's hard to find much in our desired price range, but our apartment lease isn't up until March, so we have plenty of time.
Trying for the fall to get Tan enrolled in a few classes at his college, and me be able to take one here and there.
*** Edit: you don't realize how boring your life is until you're supposed to give an update. I do promie that we really feel like we keep busy in our lives, but this post makes it seem just a little boring huh.. *** _________________ Nicolett Lvl 56 Fury

Goin' back to college in 2 weeks, living in a fraternity house (those things are like RL guilds, I swear it) and possibly visiting Riyko during Spring Break~ yea that's about it.

Well after quiting EQ I tried to switch back to some single player games like Silent Storms, KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights, and found that those games which you can "save and reload" suck and are very boring. So I'm not playing any computer game atm... while waiting for the launch of Fallout 3, KOTOR2, Wizardry 9 (if it exists)....and of course EQ2.
So bored that I (suddenly) decided to assemble a few Gundam plastic models, check this:
Job-wise, like Lari I was promoted and waiting for the salary raise (2 months overdue) and here is a rendering I did for my firm if you are interested: http://www.hkia.net/load3.asp?file=94004038.htm&content_id=4038
My family of geckos has grown to a size of 8, wife has been taking good care of them and here is the picture of one of the cutest:
Guess that's all for now, cheers
regards,

I just made arrangements to merge my company with one that belongs to a friend I've known since childhood. while I will miss being at the helm it will be nice to get a steady paycheck (for a change) and develope my ideas to their fullest (the new company is very liquid and can afford to take what I started to the max). plus Blizz works there to so I get to "group" with him everyday lol.
the kids are growing tooooooo fast (5 and almost and the summer has flown by at light speed it seems. I did manage to get a trip to my parents cabin in, but now I see the back to school flyers and am kicking myself (as usual) for not getting more outta the season.
as for gaming... my wife says I play too much, which pisses me off because if that were true I should be making more progress than I actually am! just dinged 61 (closing in on my character level record of 62 with Lexxy) and HOPEFULLY will max (not counting oow level 70) before EQII goes gold (then I can start to gring all over again).

**** edit from above: my boss just told me that she put me in for an 85 cent an hour raise... which makes me happy providing HR approves it.
Impressive work Gothra, and I really like your gecko family. They look super cute _________________ Nicolett Lvl 56 Fury

I got a pretty nice raise in July, and in 10 days I'll have dinged 15 years here, which means I'll be earning 4 weeks vacation every 12 months instead of 3. The road to total slackerville is now open before me.
Spent Saturday in a big mall in CT with my sister, was a nice trip and a great day overall, the weather was magnificent Sat & Sun. Kinda dreary and rainy today, and it's been an odd week. My job is a block away from Madison Square Garden, so the streets and traffic are a bit whacked from the changes made to deal with the RNC, and the office is almost empty since so many people took the week off. The road to slackerville is temporarily widened by a few lanes this week for certain.
Other than that I'm not doing much outside of still enjoying my new place and trying to do more comic work. The spirit is willing but the flesh is downright lazy. Did I mention slackerville?
Gratz Lari on your raise, BTW. _________________ Formerly Lizarde/Miltorrus of <Epic Shadows> in EQ
