Ok so was I. I did the access quest to get into the new Veeshan's Peak right before I retired, so I've only been in the zone once.
But back in the day, Veeshan's Peak defined hardcore. You're talking months to grind from level 50 to level 60, all night every night. Then, you get to do a key quest that will also take you months. Then you put up with the drama of an uber guild so that you can go do an 8 hour raid on Veeshan's Peak. But you didn't have instancing to help you out. Once every 7 days all those dragons would repop, and you had to be first.
The Kunark expansion defined uber dragons. EQ went from 2 dragons to becoming totally dragon crazy, and just killing one of the Kunark dragons was a thrill, and right of passage for any guild.
Kingdom of Sky is bringing back many of the Kunark favorites, including old ES favorites Gorenaire and Talendor. This is very exciting!

looks pretty good to me. those ravasect creatures remind me of the ones from swg on yavin. i cant remember the name of em though. maybe someone will remember who has played it.

Oh maybe I can finally get the drop from Gorenaire I need for my Pally epic.
The one time I was in on a kill for Gorenaire that was just for me (with Gladgolds healing), and after 3 deaths (only 4 of us taking her on, Gorenaire did not drop the pally item I needed for the epic weapon. Maybe I still have a chance.
