Congrats! Now hurry up and get us some pictures!!! Little Madeline is doing well here. I bet you both are on cloud 9 right now. I know we are just loving our little girl to pieces right now and soaking in the fun newness, oohs, and ahhs

Thank you all very much. I'll post some picts when I get some time, both mommy and baby are doing fine now. shortly after delivery Carolee woudln't stop bleeding and they had to do a D&C. The next morning she was still bleeding and clotting and a second D&C was performed. She lost a lot of blood, so she has been resting at the hospital since delivery.
Piper has Downs Syndrome and it was something that we knew early on might be a possibility. She's our 12 year miracle baby that God has blessed us with and were so glad that everything seems to be great. All the specialists and nurses say that her skin and muscle tone are great, she's alert and doing very well. She is on a little O2 now to help her heart close off one of the vessels that is normally open while in the womb, but should start to close after birth, and has a few small holes between her ventricles that they anticipate to close on there own.
She's a little cutie, I feel bad because I can go up any time to see her, feed and change her while the wife has only seen her twice since delivery. Hopefully Carolee can come home tomorrow and get some much needed rest.
And speeking of rest...I think it's time that I hit the sack as well.

What a wonderful experience to have such a trooper of a family. I am glad Carolee is doing better. Make sure she gets lots and lots of iron.
Piper is a treasure. She's absolutely adorable. I want to squeeze those chunky lil' legs. Again, CONGRATS!
