No we didnt. We were invited to Beta and didnt sign an NDA until we launched the patcher. I told like 50 people I was in before ever seeing the NDA, can't violate soemthing something you didnt sign. Hope to be on tomorrow Keiri!

Far as I know it was fine to say you got into beta, but aren't allowed to say much more than that. I mean you can buy EQII starter kits right now so you can check out the character creation etc. So talking about that isn't a big whoop, but when you click Play it's time to zipperup.

You just buy a new motherboard and drop it in. If you get a mainstream brand (ASUS, MSI) you won't have to touch the bios.
Having 3 ram slots is very strange. Even with the three slots it's very likely that 512 megs is all the bios can address. And no P III memory works with a new Pentium 4 or Athlon XP motherboard. They have totally different architecture. |

speaking about upgrade...I just spent my leftover money on a set of stupid suit for some stupid friends' weddings plus my sister in law's wedding as well
(3 total, don't even mention the "red pocket" money that I'd have to pay them when I attend their wedding dinner)
and we are planning a trip to Japan early next year.
So it'll be unlikely that I can afford an upgrade in the near future.
Can someone please make a character named Gothra so I can have the name reserved at least? |

According to my budget schedule, seems I can only get an upgrade maybe after Feb next year, i.e. 3 months after official launch date  |

i can reserve gothra for ya bro, np.
i will test it first tho, to make sure it's not like SWG. once a name was "used" it was gone from the system - permanently. even deleting your character and trying again on the same account with the same name didn't work, ie no 'holding names' or rerolling characters... bummer

Actually I couldn't fill you in even if I could. I haven't got that far yet hehe. I am still getting my feet wet with all the new content for my own class that I haven't even glanced at the others. Progression in the game is far different from EQ and SWG and I think that you will be pleasantly suprised nonetheless

Damn I just found out my EQ account has been terminated...without any email notifying me.
Probably because my credit card has been renewed and it failed to charge me?
but it has the same card number, just a new expiry date
(Sigh...I still wanted to hang around Overthere or walk that ramp from Highpass Hold down to East Karana sometimes - without lev i.e.)
hehe the number T40 sounds ancient to me Nynji...go buy a model T4K
BTW my own computer is acting wierd lately...2 out of 7 days it can't bootup and says the processor speed has been set to a improper Hertz,
but I have not even tried overclocking at all. well screw it anyway its over 2 years old.

same thing happened to me twice. once the bios was bugged (virus or error can't remember which was years ago), other time the battery was going dead.
and ya, new expiry date will not automatically rebill.

Heh nah not dead here nynji! Been awhile how u and riyko been?
I saw an email from her, but a few days after receiving it my computer
got corrupted and i had to reinstall and lost alot of my email and correspondents, so i havent been able to reply. Tell her i said hi

Im probably not going to start playing EQ2 dont have much time for games these days
I just graduated from my computer science degree and im looking to see
what i want to do with the rest of my life. Im working part time with a start up company that builds net cafes, and in my spare time im building up an art portfolio so i can break into the 3d/CG industry.
Anyways we'll see how it goes, maybe the temptation will be too much hah!
its nice to see all u guys are still in contact!!
