been reading the beta forums for a bit... honestly can't decide what class to play (will try them all eventually).

thinking druid or cleric, pally or monk, and prolly ranger at some point.

Download took me a little over 3 hours on a Cable Modem... played XBox while I waited!

Been playing for about 2 hours now - so far it's about the same as what I saw at GenCon... but I'm hoping to hook up with the rest of you Very Soon so we can try out some bigger stuff

I have created 2 characters, but just so I can level up with Lud. Both are priest class, well one is a shaman now. The other will go cleric

also have Grubz (future pally), and Smawl, going druid.

gonna play each for bunch of levels and get a feel for each.

so far the lag is about SWG level, which I can adjust to, but I tell ya, it's slow just getting stuff targetted and attacks started new motherboard inc sooner than expected!

so buch is mctavish... so what's Lud's name? both your names (keiri) ?

I actually created three characters, just because I had so much fun messing with the character creation

Mctavish - Halfling, planned to be Ranger
Buchalter - Half Elf, planned to be Druid
Spazz - Ratonga, planned to be Necro

I would expect a lot of server crashes actually with the new round of invites. This is actually a good thing because it allows them to make adjustments on how many people can mass on one server.

Make an Ogre Warrior named Elephants, Smawl, and pretend I'm there with ya guys. Use your imaginations, it works for me

hehe, last night a guy ran by me with the celestial navigator guild tag, i fell off my chair - turns out there are 5 of us in beta! so if you guys need a guild...

btw i am finally off the newb isle and working on citizenship now (this should be in the new soon to be EQII forum I know!)

Lud, you may wanna ditch that forum. I was reading on the EQ Beta Forums and an Admin posted that they specifically DO NOT want people setting up their own forums and discussing the beta on any forum other than theirs - no matter how private it is and who has access. They say you can't guarantee that people not int he Beta won't read it.

Don't wanna mess iwth the NDA and risk losing your access.

I don't have the link to the Beta forums here at work or I'd link the thread - I'll do it when I get home.
