do all mage ROBES have hoods? I don't mind the robe look but can't frickin stand head/helm graphics (unless it's plate)

Nope... once you reach level 10 and finish your sub-class quests you get a new robe "sans-hood".

between that and my pc melting (pissed me off initially but hey, now I get an upgrade!) you guys just might see if in EQII (see me AND listen to me bitch and complain - oh joy!)
