I finally smoked Malak on KotOR! That dude was a royal PITA. It didn't help that I hadn't put any of my training into Force Resistance or anything even remotely defensive. And the guy saved against almost all my offensive powers. (except Force Wave) So I basically alternated between flurries with my lightsabers and healing with life support packs! My Verpine shields saved my ass too!

I've restared all over again only this time I'm going Dark Side, Baby! I was max Light Side with my first character - I'm killing everything that moves with this guys tho! Muhahaha

One question tho - do I go ahead and just kill Juhani in the Grove on Dantooine or can I keep her alive and just make her evil instead of encouraging her to return to the light?!? Would be nice to have another Dark Jedi fighting by my side! I'm getting sick of all of Carth's goody-goody talk all the time - I'm gonna put a lightsaber thru his brain pan soon!

There is the one flaw in KoToR that i ever found! no you cannot turn her to the dark side of the force! you either kill her or you be nice for this ONE time only and then be rotten and mean and have her kill stuff cuz your leader!

In reading up on KoToR2 they say they are going to make it so your decisions WILL in fact change the outcome and outlook of your members to follow your path.....

For example there will be some people who will look up to you and mimic what you create or decide! /crosses fingers hopefully it will be that added step to take KoToR to higher boundaries.

Going Lightside is the rough part with malak! oh how i know. I was much like you and BOUGHT every health pack and shield POSSIBLE to live thru his barrage of saves and attacks. just remember this....may the darkside be with you....what malak does to regain life you will be able to take away!

I ended up "rescuing her" like you said... I figured even if she's good I'll probably want to use her because of her Jedi Powers.

My Dark Side character is definitely 10 times stronger than my Light Side character already. I made a point of not leveling up AT ALL while I was on Taris - so I basically made it all the way to the Jedi training on Dantooine as a Level 2 Scoundrel. That way I'll be able to become a Level 18 Jedi - opposed to my Light Side character that got capped at Level 12 Jedi because I went to Level 8 as a Scout. So that's six extra levels of Force Powers and Force Points I'll have on my Dark Side character.

Not just Malak! see if you can get the wookie to kill his best friend!!! thats truely evil!!! muahahahaha....ohhhhh playing the darkside in this game is absolute pure entertainment! kill everything! except the jedi's to help you acheive your goal and brush em in the end! ohhh its beautiful...../tear

on a side note, what did you think of the storyline and twisted plot? do you think they did a pretty good job?
