Do you keep falling asleep in meetings and seminars? What about those
long and boring conference calls?

Here's a way to change all of that.

1. Before (or during) your next meeting, seminar, or conference call,
prepare yourself by drawing a square. I find that 5"x 5" is a good size. Divide the card into columns-five across and five down. That will give you 25 one-inch blocks.

2. Write one of the following words/phrases in each block:

* synergy

* strategic fit

* caveat

* best practice

* bottom line

* revisit

* take that off-line

* 24/7

* out of the loop

* benchmark

* value-added

* proactive

* win-win

* think outside the box

* fast track

* result-driven

* empower (or empowerment)

* knowledge base

* at the end of the day

* touch base

* mindset

* client focus(ed)

* out source(d)

* game plan

* leverage

3. Check off the appropriate block when you hear one of those
words/phrase.

4. When you get five blocks horizontally, vertically, or diagonally,
stand up and shout
"BULLCRAP!"

Testimonials from satisfied "Bullcrap Bingo" players:

* "I had been in the meeting for only five minutes when I won."- Jack W.
Boston

* "My attention span at meetings has improved dramatically."- David
D.Florida

* "The atmosphere was tense in the last process meeting as 14 of us
waited for the fifth box."
- Ben G., Denver

* "The speaker was stunned as eight of us screamed 'BULLCRAP!' for the
third time in two
hours."- Kathleen L., Atlanta

Oh yes, I hear those words OFTEN and it drives me crazy! I can win BullCrap Bingo every 15 minutes in a meeting where I work! Wink

Along these lines, anyone ever watched Fire Me Please. It's hillarious!

Office Space is a necessity for anyone who has spent a day in a cubicle.

'Fire Me... Please' is a new reality show on CBS Tuesday night. They line up new jobs for people who are trying to get fired. The rules are the one who gets fired closest to 3:00 without going over wins 25,000, you can't ask to be fired, can't break the law and can't say you're on TV.

So there's some interesting strategy going on. You want to suck real bad, but not enough to get fired too early. The things that people pull (and what the managers put up with) are hillarious!

They make a deal with the shop owners and set up hidden cameras in the store, but the managers, co-workers and customers have no idea what is going on.
