Since the boards seem to be dead and I have a million things better to do I figured I would stir things up..I hope...
Names you have come across that makes you go hmmm...
Harry Kroch
Mitchell Nutlick
Bho Zhoe
Candida (forget the last name), however the first name is a yeast infection...
My all time favorite:
Police Officer: Detective Pusey!
You know he catches crap all day over that one... _________________

No Lie... in high school I knew a guy named Jim Kerr. One day we were talking about middle names - his was Joseph.
His parents were going to name him Joseph James Kerr. When the nurse asked them for the name for the birth certificate she laughed and said, "Ha, good one. Seriously, what's the name?"
It wasn't until then they realized they almost doomed their son to go through life as Joe Kerr.
So they switched the James and Joseph around. |

In the shipyards of Norfolk Virginia we had a female welder. When I first met her she introduced herself and pronounced her name Fah-ma-li Jones. Not thinking anything about it I just accepted it and went on my way. A few weeks later we were talking about names and someone asked Fahmali how she had gotten her name. She told us that the doctors in the hosptial called her that and her mother liked it. After some more prodding we found out that the doctors had put that name on her crib, her mother had tried to pronouce it and came up with Fahmali, I looked at her name tag and sure enough.

About two years ago a new contractor started working in my building with the name of Scott Peterson. Which was the same time frame as the Laci Peterson murder trial. Sucks to be him! _________________ Orazio
