We just had a birthday party there for my youngest daughter who turned 5. All the kids had a good time but this post is for the parents:
1. 300 kids running around all screaming
2. The pizza there is worse than the old pizza you used to get in middle school.../gag
3. there is no beer sold therefore you cannot make yourself numb to the 300 kids
4. the same songs over and over again.....
5. DONT go on halloween weekend, trust me on this one it just gets very bad.
6. I told the manager if he would give me a couple of valium he would prob get more money out of me on those blasted tokens...he refused grrrrrr.
7. last but not least the tickets you get from the games...I cant believe I spent 40 dollars on a spider ring and a slinky. I clearly see now that i am in the wrong line of work!
if anyone would like to contribute to this list feel free. really we had a good time but if it was me I would put a sports bar in for the guys off to the side. nothing big just a place to escape haha. |

OH MY GOSH!!!
Yes, i know the feeling. Try going to my in laws house! 6 noisy, loud, disrespectful, and annoying kids all yelling , screaming and trying to talk all at once. We hate going to dinner there.
But i agree Chuck E Cheese is ONLY for kids. Nothing there is for the adults to get away from the ToonDisney songs and the annoying yelling! _________________ Tanadel Talonleaf - Great Grandchild of Tanadil Truecaller of EQ1---lvl 54 Ranja

You know... I used to think like this once.
And this is no slight to you at all Tan - but EVERYONE who doesn't have kids, thinks their "eventual" kids will be SO much more behaved than other people's. Everyone says the same thing, "If those were my kids I'd never let them act that way..."
I used to think the same thing when I went to my In-laws... Jeez my nephew is such a rotten kid. Now I cringe when I see my own kids doing the same stuff. It's inevitable... it's like the rising and setting of the sun - your kids are NOT gonna be angels 24/7. And there are going to be times when you're just not going to have the energy or strength to care. You figure it's easier to let them have their way for the time being than to start World War III
Being a parent is all about picking your battles and doing just enough to make sure your kids don't kill themselves. Anything more will suck you dry within the first two years.
And Chuck-E-Cheeze is a Godsend! I love that F'in Rat!!! Nothing beats letting your kids run like maniacs for two hours until they pass out and you take them home for LONG quite naps. No one said that you have to go to CEC to actualyl eat the food. Let the kids fall asleep then go home and drink a 6-pack of Bud Lite to take the edge off! |

I know its not a slight on me, but in response.....i already know my kids will be hellions....I WAS THE WORST FOR MY MOTHER.......first of all....i am not trying to have 6 boys all within a year of eachother like my inlaws. I am meaning. my brother in laws are all brothers. Laurren is the only girl.
Not one of them know what respect means all that much, and they are just noisy!!!
I agree with you tho.....many times i say mine wont act that way, but i know they will to a certain degree....every family is different. All i am saying everytime we go to their house its as if we stepped into a Chuck E Cheese.
We are enjoying the "Silence is Golden" ruling right now. _________________ Tanadel Talonleaf - Great Grandchild of Tanadil Truecaller of EQ1---lvl 54 Ranja

| My daughter turns 4 in December. We plan to rent time in an indoor play center - space ship with slides and bubble windows and stuff. I just gotta sit by the door so none try to leave. Should be interesting. |
